Do you know about the move Titanic? Titanic is a film that follows actual events as closely as
possible. It was released in 1988 with Leonardo DiCaprio playing Jack Dawson and Kate Winslet
playing Rose Dewitt. It stood at the top of the North American Box Office for fifteen consecutive
weeks and won eleven awards.
The real sinking of the Titanic, the
largest and newest ship in 1912,
was caused when it hit a glacier
and sank into the sea at 11:40 p.m.
on April 14th, the fourth day of its
voyage to the U.S. At that time, the
Titanic was carrying 2,200 people.
Because the ship was so large,
there were people from all classes,

rich and poor.
In the movie, two of these passengers are Rose, a daughter of the nobility, and Jack, a
commoner. Rose ends up getting betrothed due to the collapse of her family, but she was so tired
of not being able to live her own way. Rose eventually finds herself clinging to the ship's railing,
determined to commit suicide. Jack, who fell in love with Rose at first sight, tries to stop Rose
when he sees her trying to commit suicide This changes into an opportunity for them to get to
know each other and develop their relationship.
Jack, having been a beggar since he was a child,
wins a ticket to the Titanic while gambling. He doesn’t
know much about the manners and greetings of the
nobility, but he wasn't afraid of anything. Jack says he
was lucky to get on the Titanic because he got to meet
Rose before he dies.
In Titanic, Rose and Jack are not the only ones who
have a special relationship. After the crash, when all
the people on board are scrambling around to live, an
old couple, having lived together for a long time, lay on
their bed together in an embrace. Even as the water
rises, the old couple hug each other, happy to die with
Rose with her arms outstretched as Jack each other.
