           The Airport Crew

Many people use airplanes to travel around the world. There are fifteen airports in Korea
                                                                                   10214 Lee Eunji
where one can easily book flights and travel quickly. There are ground crews at each
airport who help travelers with services and eliminate any inconveniences. There are also
the flight attendants in charge of the safety of the guests on the plane. In addition to those
people, many people work at the airport to make travelers trips more convenient. Let’s
look at a curious incident and what happens at the airport.
This “nut rage incident” took place on December 5th, 2014. It was a power trip on a
plane. The incident involved a forty-six-minute delay of a flight from JFK International
Airport due to the request of Hyun-ah Cho, the daughter of then vice-president of Korean
Air, who took issue with the cabin crew's lack of providing her macadamia nuts. She
forced the plane to make a U-turn back to the gate, and then asked the flight attendant
to leave the plane. As a result, Cho received a suspended sentence. It was a ridiculous
power trip that forced the cabin crew to apologize and return the plane to the gate just
because they delivered some peanuts in a bag. This was nonsense and a problem
with Ms. Cho’s personality as she did not respect the human rights of the cabin crew.
The incident caused public outrage as her actions and the actions taken by then vice-
president of Korean Air were seen as irresponsible and unapologetic. Although the cabin Ground crew members helping people at a check-in counter at an airport
crew is supposed to solve any inconvenience of the guests on the airplane, respect for
the rights of both guests and crew is important. What one should keep in mind is morality.
Like Hyun-ah Cho, if a passenger doesn't follow moral guidelines in ignoring others,
others can be hurt. In this regard, Ms. Cho made a mistake.
            Besides mere human rights,
           passengers should also be careful
           when taking airplanes for safety
           reason. Airplanes are convenient,
but in the event of an accident,
           they can be dangerous vehicles.
Airplanes have a very low probability
           of accidents occurring, but when
What a flight attendant does on a plane Incheon airport and the staff prepare for travelers’ safety during
                                                                                                                                                 the COVID-19 pandemic
