what you’re shooting for, you will give up and feel like it’s hard. I think changing your
mindset is key. Inevitably, you will get stress from grades throughout high school.
It can be stressful in university too (laughing). But instead of thinking of English as
just a subject like any other, think of it as a tool which can help you do something
you like. For example, when you want to know about something and know English,
you can read books written about that subject in English. But if you do not, you have
to the read books written in Korean or translated books. You can gain more diverse
viewpoints if you talk with many foreign people, not just Koreans. If you know only
Korean, your sight will be narrow and the opportunities you have will be fewer. Once
you change your mindset, attitude, and the way you look at English, you will get find a
reason or motivation to study English. Obviously, the biggest investment is investing to
yourself, right? So, beyond the grades, it will be good if you keep studying English by
thinking of it as investing in yourself.
Q. What's the reason why you’re so obsessed with TED talks?
Not only can you study English, but you can also gain more knowledge. Also, listening

Q. What do you want to teach us in P.E. class?
I have a belief that P.E. should be the basis of creating a good personality. “A healthy
body with a healthy spirit” is a phrase I use to explain it. I'm not only teaching P.E., but
also how to act as a person.
Q. Practice is very important in P.E. class, but we can’t do this because of
COVID-19. What do you think about this?
Of course, practice is very important in P.E. class, but I needed to teach that through
the online classes, and I didn't know how to do it at first. However, I couldn't teach any
other way except online, so I considered my options for the class, what to teach, and
how to teach it.
Q. What was the most impressive thing you noticed when you first came to
school?
Warming-up is really important for student safety during P.E. class. When I entered
my first class, I could see that the students warmed up well with the leader of the P.E.
