When I solved math problems when I was young, I felt a sense of accomplishment
when I solved the challenges, and I was attracted to answer every question accurately.
Q. Is there anything you could say to the students who think that math is hard and
struggle with Math?
Even though I keep studying Math, it’s still difficult for me (laughing). When you
face a difficult problem, I want you to not be afraid and to keep at it because other
people have felt that too. I hope that you overcome those feelings by looking at math
problems over and over again instead of trying to understand them all at once.
Q. How would you define Math in one phrase?
Math is inseparable.
Q. How did you become so tall?
I drank a lot of milk when I was young, and I exercised a lot.
Q. What has been your most memorable moment at Myongshin Girls' High School?
The most memorable moment was when I entered my first class.

students. What I want for the students to do is try hard at self-directed learning.
Q. What had been the most rewarding moment in your teaching career?

Also when students say that they are more interested in English than before, I get that
feeling.
Q. Can you give some advice or tips to students who think English hard?
The reason why they think English is difficult is because they think of English as a
subject that they have to get a good grade at, not as a subject that they enjoy. Then, if
their grades are bad, they just give up and lose interest. People don’t wanna do things
when they feel they are bad at them. If you think “the one who gets a good grade” is
