Unlike other schools, Myeongshin Girls' High School has
a school subject called Intellectual Property. Intellectual
property refers to the industrial property rights and
copyrights of a person or company, such as patents,
trademarks, designs, and utility models.
Industrial property rights are rights to protect creations,
including patent rights, utility model rights, design rights, and
trademark rights. Copyright, on the other hand, is the right to
protect creations that can contribute to cultural development.
Intellectual property can include intangible assets which seem
materialistic, excluding real estate.
Promising jobs that can benefit from taking intellectual property
courses include technology traders, intellectual property managers,
and patent attorneys who help people acquire rights and offer help with
understanding industrial property rights.
The course is currently very beneficial as it was integrated into the high school
credit system, and some universities have named this field as a major in order to
