Today, anyone can film and communicate with people
through YouTube and Africa TV. These memedia creators
can communicate with people with the same hobbies and
interests, allowing them to enjoy content together. Especially,
the content creators lead these discussions with a variety of
video contents. These creators can also benefit financially
from sharing their videos. The number of creators is increasing
because anyone can be a creator, regardless of conditions
such as age, gender, and nationality.
Memedia gives us pleasure, but it also has a bad side.
Unconfirmed fake information can be circulated by
people. There have also been cases of reckless copyright
infringement. Recently, filming videos with provocative
themes has frequently taken place in order to attract more
viewers. Since younger viewers are watching one-person
media videos, sensational and violent content can cause
harm to their mental growth. Especially, young children can be
easily exposed to these negative videos, so they should use
memedia under the special care of adults.
With the development of the memedia industry, the
development of digital content is rapidly accelerating. In order
for memedia to become an alternative media outlet, special
attention should be paid to the distribution of unconfirmed
information, the formation of fragmented public forums, and
the possibility of copyright infringement.
