The prolonged COVID-19 pandemic has brought about a major change in our society. As
people avoid contact with each other since the start of COVID-19, turning to telecommuting
and online education systems, the number of moments that people face each other has
decreased, and indirect communication is becoming more common. Recently, even
counseling, where people have to express their feelings, is being conducted indirectly. This
indirect environment has also brought about significant changes in human relationships.

Indirect communication is helping prevent the virus’s spread, but it makes problems in a
society where relationships are formed. At the beginning of COVID-19, fear or anxiety about
infection spread across the country, as anxiety increased over realistic grievances such as
discomfort, frustration, depression, economic difficulties, and child rearing issues. COVID-19
has created a new term, “COVID-19 Blue,” caused by this abnormal daily life. However,
these symptoms have deepened, creating not only depression but also a serious new term”
COVID-19 Red” in which anger appears.
