The world has been severely impacted by COVID-19
this year. Many people work through web conferences
or work from home because of COVID-19. Its impacts
have even been felt in the fashion business world.
Naturally, some view pants as more important than
tops, so fashion designers normally attach their brand’s
logo to pants in a more revealing way than for tops. But
a new trend has appeared in the fashion business world.
“Waist up” fashion means for a logo or ornament to
reveal the brand above the waist. This phrase of the
times has reflected COVID-19’s effects on meetings.
Waist up fashion
The Italian brand Prada is skillfully utilizing waist up
fashion. Prada has enlarged the inverted triangle logo
that symbolizes their company to twice its size and
moved it right under the face to the collar to make it
more conspicuous. Prada has emphasized their logo for
times like their web conference during Milano Fashion
Week, held in September.
