Baekyang Temple in Jangseong
The third destination is Baekyang Temple in Jangseong, South Jeolla
province. It is famous for its maple trees and temple stays, so many
tourists visit this place to experience Buddhist culture and temple
life, surrounded by the colorful trees. Buses and cable cars also
zip around the mountains, helping visitors get around the area.
Still, that’s not recommended for tourists who wish to see
autumn leaves at their own pace because they sometimes
zoom around too fast for tourists to see the view.
Yeongjong Sky Garden
The fourth destination is Yeongjong’s Sky Garden, located
in the Incheon metropolitan area. It has pink muhly grass
and a wide flower garden. It is also very close to Incheon
International Airport, so visitors can take pictures of the
airplanes zooming close by. There is a cosmos flower
garden here too, and it is said to be a beautiful place where
people can get a little recharge. YesKorea created the Day
of Yeongjongdo contest, designed for people to discover and
promote this less-known place that combines the beauty of the
sea and the sky of Yeongjongdo. Promoting the island’s attractive
international culture and tourism destinations, this contest is divided
into four sections: Yeongjongdo's attractions, food, family, and free
photography.
Jeju San Gumburi
The last of our destinations is Jeju’s San Gumburi. In San Gumburi, which was
also the filming location of the SBS drama “Goddess of Marriage” there is place lying
at an altitude of 400 meters above
sea level, designated as Natural
Monument No. 263. If you look at
Sangumburi from the sky, you will
see an artificial amphitheater in
the middle of the vast wilderness
surrounding it. Visitors come in five
times a day to hear the explanation
of this natural marvel by their guides.
In addition to the silver grass, you can
walk along the path of the globular trees growing along the crater or spend a romantic time
on a wide lawn nearby.
