According to the survey, 61% of respondents
said that the current medical system will
lead to the deterioration of medical clinics
because patients will choose to go only to
large hospitals. 47% of respondents pointed
out that telemedicine can have a "possibility
for crime including indiscriminate patient
information leakage and hacking." It seems
that the burden of a physician's responsibility
is getting heavier and that the misdiagnosis
caused by telemedicine will also be the
doctor's responsibility. When asked whether
telemedicine would help the patient's health, 40% of respondents answered that it would be helpful, and
40% answered that it would not help. Some answered, "I do not know," (16%) or “Very helpful” (4%).
Lastly, 72% of physicians responded that the "normalization of clinics by normalizing the number of
patients" was a priority task to be solved in order for telemedicine and medical treatment to be effective.
Most doctors say that, even if they allow telemedicine, "beginning treatment should start with a face-to-
face meeting." Professionals say that telemedicine will be profitable because of the nature of hospital-
spread diseases and the lack of accessibility to good clinics.
Some doctors say, "The first and most important thing is to develop proper system maintenance
in advance and prevent commercialization," "It will be necessary to adapt to the changes occurring in
society." Others say, "It may be helpful for a patient, but a legal system that can assign responsibility in
cases of a misdiagnosis1) should be prepared first.”
