demonstrates the difference of working with social enterprises.
Generally, for most professional management consultants, reducing labor costs should be considered

a priority for solving a poor finances. However, after Kim carried out one financial evaluation for a social
enterprise, he heard an unexpected answer from the social entrepreneur: "We are not such an enterprise.
This is not a business that was started to make money.“

It was a considerable shock to Kim Joon-sung who had evaluated the social enterprise with the same
standard he had used for general companies. After hearing the
response, he started to study social enterprises, and now works to
consult many social enterprises. So what did he learn about social
                                              enterprises?
In general, unlike general companies pursuing only increasing profits,
social enterprises are companies that pursue social missions and carry
out sales activities to generate profits to achieve their social goals.
Many consultants often ignore these characteristics when consulting

social enterprises. Thus, social entrepreneurs can’t accept the results.
Let's look at an example: a case of a social enterprise that has grown through the help of management

   consultant Kim Joon-sung.

A workplace where hope grows: Hope Bicycle

Here is a social enterprise which provides an eco-friendly transportation alternative while employing
vulnerable people and reusing resources through the recycling of bicycles abandoned in urban areas.

                                                                                     This social enterprise was suffering
from a lack of support from the Ulsan
Dong-gu office. The CEO of Hope
Bicycle was not very financial savvy
and visited Kim Joon-sung to receive
                                                                                   consulting. The consultant worked
hard to create a business proposal to
help the suffering business. After many
twists and turns, Kim got a call saying
that Hope Bicycle was able to run their
business in the black. How happy he
was! Kim said he felt an excitement that
was hard to express to many traditional
   management consultants.
There are many other social enterprises that have developed with the help of management consultants.
They will grow more and more with the help of management consultants in the future.
