the afternoon, 200 students participated in heated debates to win the grand prize. Incheon Foreign
Language High School's Let's Make a Speech team won the Grand Prize, and Myeong-shin Girls' High
School’s Pronesis team, Su-bin Park and Jeong-yeon Song, won a bronze. As a result, the students of
Myeong-shin Girls' High School gained the honor of having won a prize in the 6th and 8th Incheon High
School Student Debate Competitions.
The Incheon Metropolitan City Election Management Committee said that the NIB Nam-Incheon
Broadcasting service will broadcast a TV program about the students preparing for the debate as
well as the actual debates from the preliminaries to the main event. The 8th Incheon High School
Student Debate Competition is expected to play an important role in leading the debate culture of the
community, so that the right debate culture can spread not only to schools and students but also to
many voters interested in democracy and debate culture.
