  On August 15th, 2019, 103,000 people enjoyed Korean culture
at a K-Con which was held in the LA Convention Center and
Staples Center in Los Angeles. Regardless of the attendees
age and race, when the music started, everyone danced to the
Kpop music. Small enterprises in Korea also contributed to the
international culture event by advertising their products there.

  Due to the Korean wave spreading around the world, Korea’s
language is also getting popular.

  There are many people who want to learn Korean.
Furthermore, some people in other countries have begun
mixing Korean into their English sentences. As a result, many
people have started careers in teaching Korean, too.

  In addition, on social media platforms like YouTube, channels
that spread and advertise Korean items are growing in
popularity like Korean Englishman and KoreanBros.

  Recently, Korean inspired foods and Korean instant foods
have appeared in Western supermarkets. However, although
they were all introduced as Korean food, there are some fakes
that only use a Korean name as marketing and don’t actually
take authentic or good.

  Because of the Korean wave, tourism is also increasing.
459,073 people visited Korea in July of 2007. However, 1,448,067
people visited Korea in July of 2019, showing a growth of 15.4%
compared to the previous year.

  Many people are getting interested in Korean culture. Why don’t we have a better mind towards global
citizens and feel proud of their curiosity?
