Spider-Man: Far from Home is
about the world after Avengers:
Endgame with all its changes and
Spider-Man's trip to Europe. After
Avengers: Endgame, the people
who were removed by Thanos’
s finger snap1), termed “the blip,”
have been revived. Due to the
confusion caused by the blip and
the death of Iron Man, Spider-Man is confused by the people who view Spider-Man as the successor to
Iron Man and decides to go on a trip to Europe to avoid the limelight. As soon as he arrives in Europe, a
villain called an Elemental appears and Spider-Man fights against it. At this time, Mysterio, who insists that
he came from another Earth, helps Spider-man in the fights against various Elementals .

These two beat off the Elementals and then have a serious talk. Spider-Man, who just wants to date a
girl MJ, spills his heart out2) to Mysterio. After that, Spider-Man thinks Mysterio is more of an appropriate
successor to Iron Man than himself and hands the EDITH glasses over to Mysterio. EDITH, an acronym3)
